Municipal Services Delivery in Peshawar, the Capital City of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa is a subject of district Government. Previously the services provided by the Municipal Corporation of Peshawar needed updating, so the local government of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa with the support of multiple actors introduced various improvements in the system. One of the supporter for the improvement in the services is Municipal Services Program (MSP) Majorly funded by USAID.
FRD entered partnership with Municipal Services Program (MSP) for bridging the trust and communication gap and mobilizing the citizens for playing their role in personal, domestic and environmental hygiene.
The project is based on a holistic understanding of the role of community in improving the water, sanitation and hygiene situation in the city. The project specifically involves, men, women, and children through various activities.

The project started in November 2015 and will continue till October 2016, with possibility of Extension in time. In this project FRD has carried out an extensive pre project Knowledge, Attitude and Practices survey of 500 households, has formed WASH committees of the community where 50% of the Committees are only for women. Simultaneously FRD is working on establishing 125 school health clubs in the target area, to make the school children, ambassadors of behaviour change regarding Hygiene and Cleanliness. FRD is also working on filling the trust and communication gap between the community and the WSSP (Previously Municipal Corporation of Peshawar) officials, by arranging joint meetings for them, and helping them communicate effectively.
