IDPs In Nahqi Camp Receive Eid Package from FRD, supported by UNHCR

As the holy month of Ramadhan for muslims all over the world is coming to end, preparation for the celebration of Eid gain momentum. The markets get crowded with customers who are busy in purchasing various food commodities, Clothes, Shoes and other gifts.
People working in other towns are arranging their travels to go back to their villages, cities and towns to celebrate the Eid with their relatives and families. At the same time there are millions of unfortunate people who for one reason or another are not able to go to their own homes and celebrate the occasion. Internally Displaced People fall in one of these categories. To enable the IDPs to celebrate the occasion outside their homes UNHCR is providing Eid Package to IDPs living in various camps. As FRD is the Implementing partner for CCCM and Community services in IDPs Camp Nahqi Mohmand Agency, it facilitated distribution of Eid Package among the IDPs families living inside the camp. After recent returns from the Camp the number of families has significantly dropped and now the total number of families residing inside camp stands at 888. All the 888 families were provided with the package.

FRD Camp Coordinator Mohammad Sadiq Khan while talking to representatives of sectorial committees and Shura said " We are with you through out this hard time, and with support of UNHCR will facilitate you as much as possible" A shura member Mr. Fazl-e- Rabbi offered thanks to UNHCR and FRD on behalf of all the IDPs in Nahqi Camp.
